The Hongkong General Chamber of Commerce informs us that the
Hongkong Government has suggested to them that local business houses
who have members of their staffs serving with H. M. Forces at home or
on any of the War fronts, should communicate with their London Agents
requesting them to supply the Under Secretary of State for the Colo-
nies with the names and regimental numbers of men whose early release
is required after the cessation of hostilities.
At the request of our Head Office in Hongkong we beg to comply
with this suggest ion and give you the following names of officers of
the Bank who are at present serving in H. V. Army.
